Because of all the rain we’ve been having, our garden is incredibly lush and green for the time of year. Yes, Ireland does tend to stay green all year around, but the abundance and vividness of the plants this summer is truly incredible, especially when the sun does deign to shine. I’m not sure that it makes the rain worth it, but it is beautiful.
Being Irish, Áine lives in a green house, dresses in green clothes, eats green food at a green table, drinks from a green glass, walks barefoot on green grass, takes pictures of green things, and adds Sirens to her blog name because Sirens are green.
PS: Fancy hat in that picture!
I just realised I forgot to reply to this… I guess I couldn’t think of anything creative enough to reply with at the time! 🙂 Love this comment. Are sirens really green?
Yes, their tails are, and their hair, because algae get entangled in it. Sometimes they also wear algae-based swimsuits.
Mmm that makes sense. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had greenish skin, too.
great clarity 🙂
Thank you!
